The Mountain History Museum will be open for visitors for only one weekend in February; Presidents Day weekend from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be children’s activities and some of the new summer exhibits are being set up for visitors. See the regular exhibits as well including the movies made on the mountain in the theater, sit in a replica Blue Jay Excursion boat and take a selfie, the general store and USFS maps of the forest and wildfires. Learn about the history of the towns and the lumbering industry. All for FREE, with free off-street parking; 27176 Peninsula Drive at the corner of Rhine Road in Lake Arrowhead. Weather permitting.
